Executive Communication: Direct to Camera, Direct to People™
The toughest test of presentation skill is when it’s just you and the camera, no audience. But it’s one of the best ways to reach a lot of people because you can post your recording for a broad audience to watch later. Do it well, and you have a huge impact. But most people approach recording “Direct to Camera” without the skillset needed to do it well. The result is a leader who is stiff, unnatural, and has little if any impact on the audience watching it later. In this session you’ll learn how to be totally comfortable in front of the camera. You’ll master the skill and art of communicating through the camera as if it wasn’t there so you fully reach the people who will watch your video later, and inspire them to think, feel, and act in alignment with your intent. This is not media training. It’s about producing the same level of impact via video when you’re alone in a room with a camera that you would create in an in-person conversation where you are fully connected and at your best.
